Last Friday, we were truly honoured and very excited to welcome past pupil and Award Winning Author, Megan Grehan and her mum back to our school 😍.
In collaboration with Enterprise Ireland and Children's Books Ireland, Megan and Nene Lonergan (illustrator), worked with our sixth class pupils on the wonderful art of creativity and writing. The workshop was inspired by her award winning novel 'The Brightest Star'. This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to experience and develop the writing process with a real life author and illustrator.
A huge thank you to Mrs Mc Donnell for organising this wonderful experience for our pupils and inspiring the next generation of young writers 🖋📚.
